What the board stores

Registration requires a username, email address and password. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes, not readable passwords. Optional profile information includes a display name, avatar and signature.

Posts and moderation

Your posts, edits, reports and necessary moderation records are stored to operate and protect the discussion board. Security rate-limiting uses a keyed one-way hash of the requesting network address rather than retaining the raw address in the forum security table. Those security records are routinely expired.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms from cross-site request forgery and, if you choose Remember me, maintain a longer login token. The persistent token is stored hashed in the database.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from My account. Registration details and profile content are anonymised. Existing posts remain under “Deleted Member” so discussions are not destroyed. You can also download a JSON copy of your forum profile and posts before deletion.

Hosting

The site and database are hosted by Socudya's web-hosting provider. Information is disclosed only where necessary to operate the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, export or delete account information using the account tools or the site contact address. Do not put sensitive personal information in public posts.
